The pipette tip filters are based upon the proprietary Vyon® porous plastic, which provides greater optimized airflow, and precise and accurate pipetting. The company notes that the pipette tip has an edge finish that provides an optimum fit, which is expected to enable labs to achieve better liquid handling and dispensing routinely. The pipette tip filters can be used for both manual and automated pipette systems and are fully compliant with FDA, the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) Class VI, and European Pharmacopoeia statutory regulations, as well as being free from heavy metals.
