Rating:
Strong Points: Nice collection of links, nice image/video galleries
Weak Points: Nothing major
Summary:
It seems that I am always stumbling upon new NIH institutes. (I prefer to stumble, rather than to simply go to the NIH’s website and learn about all 27 centers and institutes at once—where’s the fun in that?) The website for the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) offers visitors a number of valuable resources. There are, of course, the usual research, funding, and training tabs to describe opportunities within the institute, but there are also other links of interest. Under the health and education tab, one can find an assortment of links indexed under the headings Science Education and Resource Library. Definitely, though, my favorite portions of the website are the image and video galleries. These galleries showcase the research of institute scientists and are a must-see for any visitor to the site.
