Lessons from Mapping Stable Fly Genome May Replace Pesticides and Fly Swatters
A collaborative effort to sequencing the stable fly genome, identifies 1,600 genes related to reproduction, host-parasite interactions, and host-microbe dynamics which could lead to new biological control measures that would preclude the use of chemical pesticides.
