Summary:
Subtitled, “Coping with plant environmental stress is the foundation of sustainable agriculture,” Plantstress.com has a clear focus and an important one. With an amazing array of articles, links, news, issues, and methods, it is hard to encapsulate the offerings in a review of this length, but I’ll try. The opening page provides a long collection of hyperlinked News, Announcements, and Events. Clicking on any of these brings up a separate window with a summary of the item and often links to related information. The site is educational via information in The Stresses section, which instructs users of the various types of plant stresses. Other site information ranges from Biotech Issues to a Reference Database to a collection of Files and Presentations to Web Resources to Methods. Whew! Needless to say, I wasn’t able to check out every individual item on the site. I’ll leave that task to readers.
