Summary:

Radiopaedia is an engaging and educational medical app that gives users access to high-quality medical imaging datasets. These datasets are presented within the context of medical cases that include basic information on the patient, the imaging datasets, a description of the findings, quiz questions about the diagnosis, and educational information about the particular affliction. The initial download of the app includes a “starter pack” of four cases. Beyond that, app users can choose to download a wide array of additional packs (each comprised of multiple cases) that span various body systems. While many of the add-on packs cost a few dollars to download, there also exist a large number of free add-on packs. Thus, even without spending any money this app offers a great educational resource to students and trainees of radiology and other medical professionals.
