EHCucate, from the European Haemophilia Consortium, is a great tool for learning more about bleeding disorders and emerging and established therapies for these diseases. The app includes numerous short lessons that cover topics ranging from foundational information, such as what genes are, to more advanced topics, such as the use of therapeutic antibodies to treat these disorders. Each topic is divided into several sections that include essential information, resources for further learning, and short quizzes. The app includes an extensive glossary that covers numerous terms used in the field and allows users to save definitions and slides of interest to return to later. The app also includes a fun activity in which users build a DNA helix based on how many lessons and quizzes they complete. EHCucate is a great app for learning more about blood disorders in easy-to-follow, bite-sized lessons.
