BioChromato has developed the Smart Evaporator C10, a benchtop device that is designed to evaporate up to 10 samples in vials in parallel to improve lab productivity. The evaporator was developed to remove even high-boiling-point solvents such as DMSO, DMF, and water. The Smart Evaporator C10 also offers safe drying of temperature-sensitive compounds and drying of solvent volumes as low as 0.1 mL. The company claims that the Smart Evaporator C10 was shown to reduce to 15 minutes the drying time for eight aqueous samples, as compared to two hours using a rotary evaporator.
