The Talos™ TEM system is designed to provide high-resolution, high-throughput imaging along with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy analysis. It can be used to characterize biological and biomaterials samples, detailing macromolecular structures, cellular components, cells, and tissues in three dimensions. When used at lower accelerating voltages and beam energies, the system may reduce sample damage on delicate materials. The system’s constant-power, double-objective lens may be used to balance contrast and resolution. Talos includes a piezo stage with stable electronics and a rugged system enclosure for thermal and mechanical stability.
