Krystal glass-bottom microplates are meant to provide excellent light transmission and an ultra-flat optical plane (±15 µm)—relevant attributes for the imaging of growing cells. Whether provided in 24-, 96- or 384-well formats, the plates are available sterile (for tissue culture) or nonsterile (for assay development). Also, the plates are available in black (for fluorescent studies) or white (for luminescence and absorbance work). The plates can also be used for light-emitting assays. The high optical clarity base of each plate is meant to facilitate confocal microscopy. Constructed to a standard SBS/ANSI format, the plates are compatible with automated liquid handling and robotic devices. All plates are supplied lidded.
