DNA Purification Kits
This new ZR family of products provides environmental DNA purification from tough-to-lyse plant material and from microorganisms in soil, sludge, sediment, or feces in as little as 15 minutes. The processes utilize BashingBead™ lysis to replace otherwise cumbersome procedures that rely on proteinases and/or organic denaturants. Instead, Fast Spin column technology together with specially designed reagents isolate the DNA and remove PCR inhibitors such as humic/fulvic acids, polyphenols, polysaccharides, and lipids. The purified DNA is for PCR, arrays, and for digestion with endonucleases.
