The Mitochondrial ToxGlo™ assay helps produce the predictive data necessary to assess mitochondrial function in the context of other cytotoxic events. Based on the differential measurement of biomarkers associated with changes in cell membrane integrity (cytotoxicity) and cellular ATP levels (mitochondrial function), toxicity profiles can be generated from multiplexed assays in a single well with an add-mix-measure protocol that can be automated, and data captured using a standard multimode plate reader.
