On the steps of the Carnegie Library in Washington, D.C., on Monday, April 8, 2013, the Rally for Medical Research will commence. The Rally is described as “a unified call to action to raise awareness about the critical need for an increased investment in the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to improve health, spur more progress, inspire more hope and save more lives” and was inspired by recent cuts in federal funding to medical research. (Read more about the Rally here.) Do you think the Rally will inspire Washington to change their minds?
