Addictive Prescription Drugs: The U.S. Government’s Role

FDA recently expressed support for tightening the prescribing and dispensing of hydrocodone-containing drugs. Some pharma industry watchdogs see this as an important first step in the government eventually putting limits on the prescribing and use of similar pain and anti-anxiety therapeutics.
