AurSCOPE contains protein targets that can be used in fungicide and insecticide development.

Aureus Pharma licensed it’s AurSCOPE Knowledge databases and software applications to Bayer CropScience.

“The addition of an agroscience company like Bayer CropScience confirms that AurSCOPE is becoming a general solution for knowledge driven discovery,” comments Jason Theodosiou, CEO of Aureus. “Access to knowledge databases will allow the agroscience industry to use prior knowledge from pharmaceutical drug targets to guide programs in the crop science industry as well”

Aureus reports that the AurSCOPE knowledge databases contain quantitative biological activity data related to various protein targets, including GPCRs, ion channels, and kinases. While these protein families are linked with a number of human disease areas, they are also important targets in the agroscience industry for fungicide and insecticide development.
