Summary:

With the vague title of this app, it is useful to know that the Click and Learn app is actually an accompaniment to the Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s (HHMI) BioInteractive website. The app contains video clips from the HHMI Holiday Lectures on Science. The clips, which can be downloaded to your device, provide information on topics such as immunology and neurobiology. In addition to the short clips, the app also provides links to interviews with over 60 scientists, as well as links to the full Holiday Lectures on Science lecture series. As these features simply link users to the HHMI BioInteractive website, an internet connection is required. The app interface is nicely designed and easy to navigate. At present, there is a limited collection of downloadable video clips. I hope the video library will be expanded in the future.
