RosettaAntibody: Fv Homology Modeling Server
Somewhat akin to the language-learning program of the same moniker for which one can often find advertisements on the television, the RosettaAntibody server can teach us something about the “language” used by antibodies to recognize and bind various antigens. Through the modeling and prediction of antibody Fv (fragment variable) structures, RosettaAntibody offers a valuable (and free) tool for researchers. Noncommercial researchers can simply submit an antibody prediction job by providing the FASTA sequences of the Fv heavy and light chains of the antibody of interest. Users can monitor the progress of their request by looking at the queue page. Judging from previous submissions, it looks like it takes anywhere from a few days to a few weeks for completion. For those of you who are more technically oriented, details of the modeling process are described under the “documentation” tab.
