Rating:
Strong Points: Good coverage of Rockefeller news
Weak Points: Needs more news to cover

Summary:
Another news-related site of note this issue is a more tightly focused one from Rockefeller University. Dubbed the Newswire, its beat is that of research at Rockefeller. Some excellent articles include a protein that converts immune cells to tumor killers, using microfluidic chips to follow worm behavior, and the role of accessory proteins in pheromone detection. Newswire is a bit different from sites mainly devoted to reporting the news as it also includes a well-organized section aimed at reporters. This could be a gold mine, both for reporters and anyone looking for info in the topic areas, but sadly the opportunity is wasted in that the listed topics aren’t linked to anything else. They simply display the areas of investigation ongoing at the campus. That’s too bad, but it is easily rectified. Let’s hope it happens.
